We come to you, walk the space, listen to what you want and provide a written, itemised quote — usually within five working days. No pressure, no sales tactics.
2. Design, Drawings & Approvals
Where needed, we coordinate architectural drawings, planning applications, structural calculations and building control sign-off, so you have one point of contact for the whole pre-build phase.
3. Build Phase On Site
Our directly-employed carpenters, plus trusted electricians, plumbers and plasterers, deliver the works to a written programme. You get a weekly progress update and a tidy site every Friday.

Local Knowledge
Builders Who Actually Know
the Weald of Kent
Building in Kent isn't the same as building anywhere else. The Weald sits on heavy clay, the conservation areas around Cranbrook, Sissinghurst and Tenterden carry strict planning controls, and a huge proportion of the housing stock is timber-framed, listed or pre-1919. A builder used to estate-style new-builds in Ashford or Maidstone will quickly come unstuck on an oast house in Goudhurst or a hall house in Biddenden — and the homeowner pays the price in delays, refused planning and costly rework.
We've been working across the Weald since 2009. That means we know which conservation officers prefer hand-made Kent peg tiles versus machine-made alternatives, when Tunbridge Wells Borough Council will accept rooflights on a rear elevation, how Ashford Borough handles permitted development on barn conversions, and which structural engineers in the area are trusted by local building control. We've completed loft conversions on Victorian terraces in Tunbridge Wells, full renovations on Grade II-listed cottages in Smarden, rear extensions on weatherboarded farmhouses near Headcorn, and new builds on plots between Hawkhurst and Cranbrook.
Local knowledge also keeps your project on budget. Because our yard is in Biddenden, our trades live within 20 minutes of most sites. Materials come from local merchants in Headcorn, Tenterden and Tunbridge Wells, so deliveries are quick and a missed lintel doesn't stop the job for three days. We have established working relationships with electricians, plumbers, plasterers, roofers and groundworkers across TN17, TN18, TN27, TN30 and surrounding postcodes — meaning trades turn up when they're booked, and your build flows from one stage to the next without dead days on site.
Beyond the practical side, we care about how a finished project sits in its surroundings. A new kitchen extension on a period property should feel like it has always been there. New oak joinery in a beamed cottage should weather alongside the originals. Our team's job is to deliver work that respects the character of Kent's villages and the standards of its homeowners — whether you're in Cranbrook, Tenterden, Tunbridge Wells or anywhere across the wider Weald.
Areas We Serve
Proudly Serving Kent
& East Sussex
Based in Biddenden in the heart of the Weald, our workshop and yard sit a short drive from Cranbrook, Tenterden, Sissinghurst, Headcorn and Staplehurst — meaning materials, trades and site visits arrive on time without long-distance call-out fees.
We work daily across the Weald of Kent, the Tunbridge Wells borough, Ashford, Maidstone and into East Sussex around Hawkhurst and Rye. Whether it's a Grade II-listed cottage in Goudhurst, a Victorian semi in Tunbridge Wells, a barn conversion near Biddenden or a new-build in Ashford, our team brings the same on-site discipline, tidy working practices and weekly client updates to every job.
